Experience design at Grønset farm

Grønset Gard is located by the beautiful Vinjefjord in Trøndelag. The farm has previously belonged to both church and government, but now the 7th generation Grønset has restored the old barn and turned it into party and meeting rooms, as well as a Summer Café and arena for intimate concerts. If you want to stay overnight, there are 3 charming rooms in the distinctive farmhouse.

The owners aim to make Grønset into a sanctuary for travellers and artists. They have asked for Hands on History’s help with the developement of heritage experience design for their guests.

This is such a beautiful and inspiering place to work with. The farm buildings are from the 1870’s and a few kilometers into the nearby mountain lies Grønsetsætra, the old summer farm. The farm, and especially the old barn has been restored over the last 6 years, and the place is now filled with activities. In addition to the B&B, there are concerts, meetings qioz, weddings and more at Grønset.
