From start to finish allow us to take you into the world of Vikings, mountains, historical cabins, and crackling fires. As soon as you arrive we take over so you can focus on the impressions and challenges ahead.
Our Go Viking Hikes include:
A 3 day (2 nights) hike through the Norwegian mountains.
2 nights in a traditional 17th century Norwegian log cabin.

Not only do we explore the Viking Age, we also immerse ourselves in the traditional Norwegian lifestyle by staying two nights in a 17th century farm enjoying classic home cooked Scandinavian food and comforts. The evenings are spent surrounded by crackling fire and candlelight, perhaps with a drop of aquavit?

This is a demanding and intense outdoor experience.
Our tours are meant for everybody, but they are no walk in the park. Our route goes through the rough Norwegian wilderness and off the beaten track. There is only so much we can do to make you comfortable with Viking Age equipment. To join us on the hike we therefore demand a high level of physical capability. The challenge is part of the experience and pushing the borders is part of the process!

Check the elevation
This is Norway, a place not known for being flat. During the Hike we will do some serious climbing, in some cases without any presence of a road or path! This is not a walk without its fair share of challenges.
An old Viking saying: Safety first!
We like to be adventurous, but never take unnecessary risks. We reserve the right to make itinerary related decisions or refuse participants if we do not consider it safe to go. If you have pre-existing medical conditions, notify us beforehand and we can talk about the options!
