Reindeers are adapted to an arctic climate with cold temperatures. Reindeer fur have hollow hairs, which makes it more isolating and warmer than fur from most other animals. Pelts like these can withstand getting wet, but must be dried hanging in a dry environment. Store the pelt dry and hanging.
